This initiative is all about helping whānau to create small plant based vege or herb gardens called Poipoi Kari (Nurture Gardens). We come to your home/whare to help you set up the gardens by using wooden pallets or raised wooden structures.
We supply the materials, seeds and soil and help whānau to nurture and grow their own kai. Our Maara Kai outcomes are achieved by involving interested whānau in the learning and creation of nourishing kai alternatives that whānau can benefit from.
